READING TIPS
✓ Say each sound in the word first
✓ Blend whole word smoothly
ARTICULATION REMINDER
❌ tuh +ug= tuh-ug
✅ t+ ug = tug
Keep consonant sounds short and crisp.
Avoid adding an extra “uh” sound.
A quick sound is easier to blend.
Praise careful listening.
PARENT TIP
If your child gets stuck, read the word family sound first, then add the beginning sound.
